DEEP SECRETS EPISODE 1.7: BESTXPLORER HOST RAPPER, DIA - Read His Secrets

Award winning rapper, Didam aka DIA as popular known is a Kaduna base rapper whom love for music has taken him far and brought him to limelight, he's well known in Kaduna and the Northern part of Nigeria for his unique deliveries and world class meaningful songs.
DIA is consider by some fans to be the number one best rapper in Kaduna State.
In early 2018 he recorded a song titled "PVC" Which is also translated as "Please Vote Correctly" the song which had gone viral has received a lots of applauds from fans and critics alike within and outside Nigeria.
DIA musical career have so far recorded some bunch of success, he is however nominated in 3 different categories at Kaduna Entertainment Awards (KEAAWARDS) 2018.
DIA is closely associated with IBI, Dj Cinch, Kayswaggz, Terry Tha Rapman, B.O.C, Pherowshuz, Kevin Words, Nifty Breezy, Lemuel Knight; just to mention but few

DIA:  I am Didam Iliya Ajeye,   better known as
DIA (Didam is amazing).
I'm a rapper, songwriter & producer from Kaduna State Nigeria, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with a bachelors degree in Metallurgical and materials engineering.

FIDWON: What's your best/greatest achievement

DIA: My greatest out of so many achievement so far is being able to win over my parents to a point where they are now fans of my music.

FIDWON: What's the most embarrassing moment of your life?

DIA:  I really can't recall my most embarrassing moment yet.

FIDWON: What's your Favourite food?

DIA: My favorite meal is beans porridge with fried plantain 😎

FIDWON: If your wishes could be granted, what's the first thing you would wish for?

DIA: The first thing I'd wish for is to be as wise as Solomon.

FIDWON: Who's your celebrity crush?

DIA: I actually don't have a celebrity crush. Yet

FIDWON: Are you dating, engaged, married or single?

DIA: Well, I'm married to my hustle....... Lol

FIDWON: What's your best Nigerian song?

DIA: Presently, Ye by Burna Boy is my favorite Nigerian song.

FIDWON: Who is your role model?

DIA: My mother is my role model.

FIDWON: Who's that One artiste you wanna collaborate with?

DIA: Jon Bellion is one artiste I'll love to collaborate with... If wishes were horses.

FIDWON: Who's your favourite Nigerian rapper?

DIA: Falz the bad guy is my favorite Nigerian rapper

FIDWON: Why do you chose Rap as your genre of music?

DIA:  I chose rap over other genres of music because rap music is a genre of music that grants you the liberty to fully express yourself and virtually talk about anything.
It is a dynamic form of music.
FIDWON: What was your ambition as a kid?

DIA: I wanted to become a comic book artiste/writer before life happened.

FIDWON: Are you signed to any label? If yes how did you get signed?

DIA: No, I'm not signed to any label yet.
I'm an independent artiste for now.

FIDWON: Who inspired you into music?

DIA: No particular person inspired me into music.
I was surrounded by a lot of music lovers all through my childhood so I think I picked it up from everyone around me.

FIDWON: What motivated you to record the popular song PVC?

DIA: The song PVC was instigated by the rough and turbulent times Nigeria is/has been passing through for some years now.

FIDWON: Who would you vote for in 2019 as your President and Governor?

DIA: Lol.....  Anyone who follows me closely on social media knows this answer already. Those who don't, should please follow me.

FIDWON: Who is your competitor in the music industry?

DIA: I don't see the music industry as a competition ground...
We (artistes) are all on the same team.

FIDWON: Where should fans see DIA in 3 years to come?

DIA: On the clouds fam.
Way above where I am right now.

FIDWON: What's your view on Kaduna music industry?

DIA: Kaduna music industry has really evolved from what it used to be 5 years ago & I'm pretty sure the evolution won't stop where it is at the moment.
Though there is still room for improvement but I believe with time, it would only get better.

FIDWON: Your advice to upcoming artistes

DIA:  I have a lot of advice to upcoming artistes :
- Always keep an open mind to criticism.
- You should be your biggest critic. Don't lie to yourself.
- Research and learn more about your genre of music
- Don't do music for the wrong reasons
- Be humble
- Don't rush to put out songs, take time to write your songs or hire a writer if need be.
- Work with good experienced producers that would help bring out the best in you.

D'VENOM is a recording artiste, performing artiste and a song writer.
He's one of the leading artiste in Kaduna South.
DOPE'GEE as he's sometimes referred to became popular after the release of his hit singles "BAHD GIRL" and "PICK UP"a songs that many loved, after the released of the songs he gave his fans a talked about song which he entitled it "Basu Khala" a current award nominated song. 
He however recorded the cover of "THIS IS AMERICA" by a popular American rapper, Childish Gambino" which he titled his own version as "THIS IS KADUNA". In this record he talked about the bad habits of Kaduna entertainers.

DEEP-SECRETS: FIDWON HOST DJ CINCH AS THE GUEST - READ HIS SECRETS

 Dj Cinch started his high school from Science Secondary School Kufena Zaria and finished from Technical College Malali Kaduna.
He furthered with his tertiary education at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria and graduated with Nd Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Dj Cinch didn't stop there he furthermore obtained his Degree from the Department of English and Drama, Kaduna state university (KASU)
The Arewa star came into limelight after the release of the cover of "Wo" by Olamide which also impressed the C.E.O of Nigeria popular record label "Chocolate City" Barr. Audu Maikori. One of his hit singles include SAMINAKA which had Pherowshuz, DIA, Nifty Breezy & Kevin Words on the remix. His current single is titled "GANGA" (DANCE)

Dj Cinch: My Name is Fumen John Naye aka Dj Cinch (Cincho, Seniorman) I'm Ham (Jaba) by tribe from Kwoi Jaba LGA, Kaduna State Nigeria, I'm from a family of 3, and I'm the second born, Both of my parent are late, may there soul rest in Peace. I was Born in Zaria. I'm a performing and recording award winning artist, based in Kaduna, I'm also a Music producer (CEO Beats Fact3/Senior man Record)

What is your best/greatest achievement?

Ans. Dj Cinch: For now my best achievement was performing in front of former presidents, Governors, Senators etc at the 2017 House of Justice End of year Dinner and Summit.

Ans. Dj Cinch: Some years back my performance was cut short while I was on stage. It was the most embarrassing moment for me.

[DEEP SECRET] Meet Kayyswaggz & know his deepest secrets that you probably don't know as Bestxplorer xplore & exposes him.


Kevin Oche Adole, popularly known as Kayyswaggz, hails from Benue state, Idoma by tribe. He started dancing at a very tender age before
discovering his love and passion for music. He has danced with crews like Soul Purity and Ywap (Youth With A Purpose). He later joined a crew back in his boarding school called "UniQ Souls" where he started writing songs and rap rhythms. Kayyswaggz was known back then as "WeezyAveli" cause he wanted to blend the styles of "Lil Wayne and 2pac" together. Kayyswaggz got his starlight when he did a 3:18mins freestyle called "My moment". He later met "Metronome" who helped him boost his musical career with good and quality beats and great mixing. He also joined MadeInkrockcity which helped him boost his music online. Kayyswaggz later hit the whole northern Nigeria on "valentines day"(Feb 2014) with his hit song called "Sunmo mi" featuring the music maestro himself "Metronome". He later released another Raggae banger called "Baddman" ft Metronome again. He hasn't stopped giving hits since then.

KAYYSWAGGZ: Well music started for me from secondary school,but I
started music professionally in 2014,When I met ace
producer metronome at 64bitz studio,he thought me almost everything I know and do today.

KING SNIFFY: What's your best/greatest achievement?

KAYYSWAGGZ: Omoh I'd say my greatest achievement is still to come.

KING SNIFFY: Most embarrassing moment of your life

KAYYSWAGGZ: Lol...I went for a show and I was called to perform,when I was on stage I found out my song wasn't with the DJ,I had
to step down, it's really embarrassing

KING SNIFFY: Your Favourite food

KAYYSWAGGZ: I don't think I have a favorite I just eat food as far as it doesn't have onions in it,cause I hate onions...

KING SNIFFY: If your wishes could be granted, what's the first thing you would wish for?

KAYYSWAGGZ: My wish will prolly be to sign a mega deal...yeah...dahts it

KAYYSWAGGZ: To be a footballer oooh,I no know how the thing just change....Na God sha.

KING SNIFFY: Ever since you dropped SHE GOT ME VIDEO, there has
been a lot of criticisms and controversy from different angles. So what can you say about it?

KAYYSWAGGZ: Well if nobody talks about you then you're nobody so I enjoy all the criticisms cause it makes alotta people get to
know me and wanna listen to me,like I said I always try to build a better me, so the more they criticize me the more I get bigger and better...In fact am dropping a video for "I Said It" Soonest. So Anticipate.

YUNG ICE: Emmm my names are: Kenneth Timothy Bossan, young and cool guy who was raised from G.R.A to the street tryna make it real to the nation

FIDWON: Tell us about your best/greatest achievement:

YUNG ICE: Wow! First thanks to almighty jah. Educationally am a rapper with an N.C.E, and am still going to further. Musically am dope ma fans need me and not forgetting ma family (DPEMG Nation) they got me.

FIDWON: Tell us your most embarrassing moment of your life

YUNG ICE: Hahah u know Fidwon, man don't leave without embarasment, and one of it to me was in 2012 after high school, I was invited to a show were ma fans keep in waiting for ma turn to be on stage. And unfortunately some kind of technical issues occured which turned out for me not performing in the show. But nevertheless tanks to ma fans (You are still keeping me real) Anatare

FIDWON: What is your favourite food?

YUNG ICE: Nadijunction! Man leaves with food men. Specifically I do like pounded yam with egusi soup. (its just the best, Mummy's know it)

FIDWON: If your wishes could be granted, what's the first thing you would wish for?

YUNG ICE: Your head the function. Thanks for the question, If my wish should be granted I would like to have a special dinner with all ma fans and supporters. I can't do without them the are all I gat.

FIDWON: Who is your celebrity crush?

YUNG ICE: Heh, this guy! Sha, I like Nija female act the are all good, but talking about crush, I do chose Chidimma (miss Kedike)

FIDWON: What is your best Nigerian song?

YUNG ICE: Naija artist they try a lot. But ma best song for now is Patoranking- "Friends" while optionally is "Blessings" by BlackMagic ft Oritsefemi.

FIDWON: Who is your role model?

YUNG ICE: O yeah! when it comes to role model just leave me with ice prince and B.O.C Madaki (they inspire me)

FIDWON: One artiste you wanna collaborate with

YUNG ICE: If there is any artist I wanna collaborate with, that should be @Iruntown that dude is crazy but for now @BocMadaki is on the move.

FIDWON: What was your ambition as a kid?

YUNG ICE: Thanks for that one! When I was a kid I use to be like mummy I will be a banker, Daddy I will be a banker. But at 13 I discovered some musical redeem in my vain. At 17 I started recording but I still have banking concept cos I study Business Education.

FIDWON: How did you get signed to DPEMGNation?

YUNG ICE: Nadijunction! I was doing good as a one man gang up till  last year when I feature DPEMG boss (D'Paramount) on a track "Babushege" there he saw something in me, just of recent after the collaboration he put me on call and decided to sign me up. Neyu Godwon Nyan, simply known as Godwon, is a full-blown Kaduna boy Bajju by tribe, born and raised in Zaria, Kaduna State - till he was 9, when his family moved to Houston, Texas. Music to Godwon is a passion. His music career took a turn in a positive direction when he won the Eminem Freestyle Battle in Houston, Texas. The competition was a big television show recorded for a major network and was shown across the United States. After he won that competition, a lot of doors open for him; he got signed by an independent music label in the U.S called "To The Top Entertainment" and his career suddenly blossomed. There after, he started doing freestyle and intros for some notable radio DJs and also got called up to write songs for different artistes including those on Jay Z’s label. So far, he has released three albums and has some mixtapes in the U.S and he is a member of BET Hip-Hop Awards Voting Alumni. Some of his songs and features include; "Too Much Money" ft Saucekid & Ikechukwu, "Omo Ele" ft Banky W, "Watchu Talk About" ft Iceberg Slim & Riko, "Moi Moi" ft DJ Jimmy Jatt and "Forgive Them Remix" by Morell ft Ice Prince, Vector & Godwon, among others.

King Sniffy: Welcome sir. We are honoured to have you on Deep Secrets. Godwon is not a new name in the industry, it's a name that all hardcore rappers and real hip-hop heads are familiar with. So tell us, when did you start music?
Godwon: That's a hard question to answer..... I started rapping about 9 years old, started recording professionally at 16, signed with a label at 19.
King Sniffy: Your best/greatest achievement?
Godwon: Going to the studio with Scarface and him calling me to be in his video with my crew...
King Sniffy: Most embarrassing moment of your life
Godwon: I remember I was in 8th grade and a bit of a cool guy... I was in the gym thought I had to fart and I shitted my jeans... (laughs) I left school immediately and it's the first time I am telling the story but my best friend Berry will remember the day.. (laughs)
King Sniffy: Your favourite food
Godwon: I like things with chicken but if I wanna be real I like meat. Cook food with meat and I will love it.
King Sniffy: If your wishes could be granted, what's the first thing you would wish for?
Godwon: I would wish I had better guidance and encouragement as a child. Never really had a positive influence besides my mother and father and they were never around because of work.. my brothers and sister as well were in school so I was pretty much left to my own devices.
King Sniffy: Your celebrity crush
Godwon: Hmmmm damn I don't even crush like that but I'd like to take out Victoria Kimani.
King Sniffy: What's your best Nigerian song?
Godwon: Damn that's another hard one, (laughs) what kinda questions are these man? Ok I like everything Tekno makes
King Sniffy: Who is your role model?
Godwon: My dad is my role model.. man was so great so fast... would love to be like him.
King Sniffy: One artiste you wanna collaborate with
Godwon: I would like to work with Bob Marley... that dude look like he real cool and we would smoke weed and eat curry chicken and rice (Laughs)
King Sniffy: What was your ambition as a kid?
Godwon: I wanted to be famous.. but I regret that ambition because it doesn't fit my character, truth is I like to be alone and not bothered. I'm only normal around select few.
King Sniffy: You started your career in Texas, U.S.A. And coming back to Nigeria now, your pattern and accent is different from other rappers. So how do you cope?
Godwon: I don't cope, I do me.
King Sniffy: Advice to upcoming artistes
Godwon: Stay in school.
King Sniffy: Thanks for your time.
